This June, Soho cocktail bar Henson’s at Mimi’s Hotel, launches a brand new cocktail menu under the expert guidance of bar manager Francesco Delfino. Spotlighting the spirits within each drink, taking you on a personal journey worldwide with just a sip. Henson’s Bar is a luxurious sanctuary in the heart of Soho London

An Italian red wine…but not as you know it

Domino is delighted to welcome on board L’Occhiolino (Locky-Oh-Leeno)

A brand new Italian sparkling red wine but not as you know it. L’Occhiolino is from the historic yet vibrant city of Bologna. This light, sparkling red is rich in black fruits with a velvety texture. Best served chilled and at only 7.5% ABV, let L’Occhiolino be the perfect drink of choice when welcoming this summer.

Eye’s on the prize

Presenting another of Domino’s exciting new clients this month, Ojo De Dios Mezcal (meaning Eye of God). Available in Joven and the world’s first coffee mezcal: ODD Cafe.

Ojo de Dios Joven has a delicious and abundant flavour profile, featuring sweet notes of dried apricots, plums and toasted pineapple, further complemented by hints of umeshu and fresh tobacco. Sensational sipped and adds depth to any agave spirit laced cocktail.

Innovative and bold, ODD Cafe combines smoky and delicate Mexican coffee to compliment fresh and earthy agave flavours, resulting in the ultimate drinking experience for any agave or coffee fanatics. 

Are you feeling Lucky for a Scorcher this June? 

Wait till you see who Domino has onboarded! A new rebellious drinks company Urchin Spirits is releasing two whisk(e)y-based liqueurs. 

Lucky Sod  is an Irish whiskey liqueur with flavours of toffee, caramel and vanilla. This liqueur will have you licking your lips wanting more! The bottle features a mischievous smirking cat character, inspired by the fable of the lucky black bog cat.

Scorch (29% ABV) available from July is a Scotch whiskey liqueur with more than a nod to the classic Old Fashioned cocktail, but with an added whack of candied blood orange, sweet vanilla and chilli heat. Standing firmly against Scotch convention, the logo illustrates the classic stag but with horns of fire, matching the ‘let tradition burn’ tag line!

New artisan Mezcals from Código 1530

Attention all Agave lovers, Código 1530 is soon to be launching two brand new premium Mezcals; available in both Artesanal and Ancestral forms, Código 1530 has applied their traditional codes or códigos and customs of tequila making to mezcal. The authentic, high-quality spirits have been developed to be smooth, with subtle smoke, ideal to be sipped alone of layered into cocktails.

May sees an exciting series of singles gin cocktail masterclasses, a day of healthy hedonism at Fabric and Mexican celebrations for Cinco de Mayo. In addition to shining a light on Ibiza’s hidden gem of a taqueria, did someone say Michelada?

Thirsty this Thursday? BrewDog Distilling Co. are partnering up with hip dating App Thursday on the 5th May at BrewDog Seven Dials! Expect a selection of BrewDog LoneWolf Gin cocktails from the fruit-forward range, from gin Margaritas to a Peach & Passionfruit Tom Collins. Guests will be treated to interactive masterclasses, sampling sessions and mini demos on how to make your favourite drinks, as the DJ plays long into the night, plus multiple chances to win some swag. Salud to Cinco De Mayo, 5th May 

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Código 1530 and their stunning tequila portfolio that heralds from the birthplace of the spirit in Amatitán in Oaxaca. West London’s favourite brasserie and private member’s club Laylow will be serving Código 1530  Rosa Palomas, made from one of the only rosa tequilas in the world, created through rested the brands’ Blanco for 1 month in un-charred Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, giving it a soft pink hue. Palomas will be free-flowing from 2nd to 8th of May and is the perfect accompaniment to head chef Adam Rawson’s new flavours of Mexico menu, launched this month.If you can’t make it down, we have included the recipe for the Código 1530  Rosa Paloma below :

Paris is calling for the international launch of BARGE 166


Maison Ferrand is opening the world’s first floating cellar, BARGE 166. The vessel is the new home to around 1,500 barrels of luxury rum and Cognac, resting on the banks of the river Seine in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The 73-year-old river barge was rescued by spirits specialists, Maison Ferrand, and underwent a huge structural rebuild in order for the barrels to age and benefit from the boat’s gentle movement and changing atmosphere. Team Domino is escorting some leading international trade press for the official reveal, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the grand opening!

EASTER with 500 Cuts of Cherry & Dark Chocolate Rum

BrewDog Distilling Co. has created what’s expected to be everyone's preference over a chocolate rabbit this Easter with 500 Cuts Cherry & Dark Chocolate Rum. Using Morello and Wild cherries which are concentrated, pressed and then distilled, the resulting liquid has a sensational black forest gateau aroma. The smooth fruit and chocolate spirit, encapsulates the ultimate flavours of Easter.

Experiment in a range of cocktails, or Domino HQ recommends updating a Manhattan, with the Hot Cross Rum cocktail. The recipe can be found below:

60ml 500 Cuts Cherry & Dark Chocolate

½ tsp Maple Syrup

2 dashes of walnut bitter


Add the 500 Cuts Cherry & Dark Chocolate, maple syrup and walnut bitters in a rocks glass, over cubed ice and stir down to combine. Garnish with an orange twist.
